Only need the chords? Analysing a track is free and doesn't need an account — drop a file in and you'll get the chords, key and tempo back. Signed out, uploads are capped smaller than a free account's — signing up lifts the limit.
On every plan: we keep your uploaded and generated audio, and your chord charts — chords, key, tempo, the lot — never expire. Pin the tracks you keep coming back to and they're exempt from all of it: audio included, however old they get.

Uploading to the stem splitter does both at once — it separates the track and reads it — so it is charged once, at 8 credits: 6 for the split + 2 for the chords, key and tempo.
Common questions
Will the free tier stay free?
Yes. The core chord-finder — our AI chord engine, enhanced 7th & suspended chords, the chord chart on the timeline, transpose and export — stays free for everyone. Paid plans add credits, longer and heavier files, stem separation, a bigger library and more of it kept for ever.
How are credits counted?
One shared currency: analyzing a track, splitting it into stems and generating a new one each cost a fixed number of credits, spent from the same balance — see the price list below. The cost is held the moment you submit — so your balance drops while the job is still queued, not when it finishes — and anything that fails on our end is returned in full, so failed work never costs you. A signed-in account's balance renews monthly; an anonymous visitor instead gets a smaller daily allowance, since there's no account to hold a running balance on.
What happens to my tracks over time?
Two different clocks, and only one of them takes anything you can't get back. The audio file expires on the window above and the analysis stays — you keep the chords, the key, the tempo and the chart, and the page tells you the audio has gone rather than pretending the track never existed. Separately, when your library is full the oldest track drops off to make room. Pinned tracks sit outside both: they are never the ones evicted, and they keep their audio no matter how old they get. So the pin count on each plan is really the answer to “how much of this is mine to keep?”
Do I need an account?
No. Guest uploads work end-to-end. A free account gets you a persistent history, public share toggles per analysis and a monthly credit balance in place of the smaller anonymous daily allowance.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel a Supporter or Pro subscription in one click from the billing portal — no email, no hoops. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then the account drops back to Free.
What should I expect from the track generator?
It takes your brief seriously, but not literally. A finished track comes back in the key you asked for on roughly two runs in three; tempo is an anchor rather than a command, and the generator works across 60–180 BPM; a chord progression is a guide rather than a setting, and about half of it typically turns up in the finished harmony. The Arrangement pass — the generator drafting a structure before it renders — runs on every plan, Free included: it is how the generator works, not something a tier buys. Track length is the same story, and the studio offers the same lengths whatever you are on. What a plan sets is your monthly credit balance, how many takes each generation renders, whether you can go back and rework a finished track, and how many jobs you can have running at once. Every generated track shows what you asked for beside what was actually measured in the audio, so you never have to take our word for it. Try the generator.
The studio locked a setting and sent me here — where is it?
Reusing a starting point works on every plan that lists it, with two conditions: the track needs a set length rather than Auto, and it can't run alongside the Arrangement pass — that pass rewrites the brief each time, which is the one thing a repeat can't survive. The studio says so on the spot if you pick a combination that won't repeat.
Is the Lifetime plan really a one-time payment?
Yes — Lifetime is a single payment, not a subscription. There is no monthly bill and nothing auto-renews. You unlock the bigger credit balance, longer tracks, a bigger library with more of it pinned for ever, and 6-stem separation, plus track generation, and they stay with your account — your credits still renew every month, the same as any other plan, just without a recurring charge.
